The Weight of the Real
2 Readers
Reality does not always knock-it seeps in through the cracks.
For most of her life, Anaya lived somewhere between the possible and the preferred. As a child, she was told that reality was what you could touch, measure, and explain. But when she sat by the sea and watched the sky change colors, when she heard her grandmother pray to a god who never answered in words but often in feeling, she began to question that version.
